  • Implement interfaces between student timetabling system, student administration system, university financial system and two smaller systems. Also add GST features to financial interface.

 

Multinational ink and printing supplies manufacturer (5 years)

  • Plan and manage major BPCS ERP version upgrade and Year 2000 compliance projects for Australian and Asian networks. Project included documentation, evaluation, estimation and re-application of 1300 modifications done over the previous 6 years. The full testing cycle (process/test design, three test phases, defect reporting and resolution) was implemented as a Notes workflow application. This application was replicated and run across Asia-Pacific WAN links to manage the conversion, migration and acceptance of Y2K compliant systems in 4 countries in 30 days. Project ran from 1995-1999 with a team of up to 8 developers, and came in on schedule and 30% under budget.

  • Implement a major shipment system for all divisions and branches. Activities include project and business management, evaluation and feasibility studies, proposals, analysis, design, specifications, development and interfacing, training and documentation.

  • Plan, implement and manage combined Lotus Domino and AS/400 virtual private network, internal and Internet mail services and web site.

  • Specify, implement and manage various Lotus Notes databases, including customer relationship/marketing database and market share database system for two divisions.

  • Develop automated interfaces between BPCS ERP database to Notes network.

  • Design, specify and manage development of a hazardous goods management system interfaced to both BPCS and Infosafe.
