Work as a Freelance Expert
After 18 years work in two biggest Croatian companies in 1995 I have founded company MING Ltd. I am freelance expert and the only employed worker. Since foundation I have executed many business modeling or IT development projects in a role of lead or field expert. The projects were done in firms from 10-30,000 workers in different vertical industries like banks, insurance, retail, oil, food and Croatian Government.
How I Work
In my work I am using Sybase Power Designer but I can easily use other tool if needed. I am highly specialized for Business Analysis (requirements gathering, business process and scenario modeling), Data Base Design (OTP, OLAP, DW) and Information Movement Modeling. In my work I produce conceptual and logical models which can be used for automatic generation of implementation languages (DDL, BPEL, WS4BPEL) with bidirectional link between model and development tools / implementation platforms (Eclipse, MS Visual Studio,, Java, .Net, others) or used Database (ORACLE, MS SQL, DB2, SYBASE, others).
Bridge Between Business and IT
I am excellent “bridge” between business and IT worlds. I am extremly fast in capturing business domain information do understand business as well as IT stakeholders and can easily fit with a team for software development regardless of development platform methodology and size of the project. I also understand the structure of legacy solutions because I have started my work when Cobol and Mainframes were dominant technology.
